Hi Lori,
It's so nice to know that my genius Chanukkah cookie idea is still providing inspiration after all this time. It's easy and, if you don't mind me saying...adorable (if a menorah can be adorable, that is!) I'm not usually so inventive and crafty, so excuse if I'm a tad over self-congratulatory on this one. The cookie recipe itself is actually a really good one - better than others I've used.
If you do try them out next Chanukkah - let me know how they work out.

Nice sugar cookie recipe especially since you can make these with your kids and enjoy the fun of decorating them. I sell luscious kosher baked goods but it's always fun to bake your own too sometimes. Thanks for the great recipe.

Just be careful to check the corn ingredients - many of them have gelatin, which isn't kosher!

Oh, yeah, that soda, not the soap flavored kind.

Oh how I try to fit in with your Jewish culture and how I fail at times. Going to go back to my midwestern church right now...

Mark: I'm glad you approve. Thanks for your support. I'll try to save you a couple-few sugar cookies next time.

Cuisine Bonne Femme:
my gosh, I'm overwhelmed by your kind and flattering words. Who are you, mysterious reader?
Shoot, I'd be spitting up my Dr. Bronners too, if I were to be so daring as to ingest liquid soap. Could you possibly mean Dr. Brown's, as in the celery-flavored soda?
Just wondering.

This is sheer genius! Smart, practical, and funny. So funny I was almost spitting up my kreplach and Dr. Bronners I was laughing so hard.

I can imagine making these as a project with little kids and it becoming a true tradition at Hannukah for many families.

You are a fantastic writer!
