Just Baking

There are some nights, after a long crazy day at work, that making a recipe from scratch just ain’t gonna happen.  But on those nights, when you’re still craving something sweet from the oven, there is a new alternative … straight from Ina Garten.  It wasn’t until the recent Food Show in New York that I discovered that Ina, otherwise known as the Barefoot Contessa, had a new line of baking mixes, available exclusively from Crate & Barrel.

Everything from her popular Coconut Cupcakes and Outrageous Brownies, you can also pick up Orange Poundcake, Lemon Bars and even her own maple syrup.  Perfect for those times when the most you can handle is making a mix.  Hey, I’m not a huge advocate of mixes, but it happens to the best of us every once in awhile.  You can check out the entire collection right here.
