Camp Granola

I love granola. This recipe is awesome.  The best part about it is, you can add to it or change things about it. For example, you can use olive oil instead of canola oil, or you can add your favorite nuts or fruits to this.

I like to eat mine cold with fresh raspberries and milk. Enjoy!

Camp Granola

5 cups oatmeal (either quick or old fashioned will work)
1 cup coconut
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons real vanilla

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Bake on a flat cookie sheet for about 1 hour at 300 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.
